Factors that affect the cost of building horse stables

When it comes to looking into the cost of building horse stables, there are various factors that will affect the horse stable prices. We’ll break these down so you can get a better understanding of how you can customise your horse stable with Vale Stables depending on your requirements and budget.

Location

When it comes to building a horse stable, you will need to ensure you have enough land to construct the stable on. Land prices can vary depending on location, therefore it is important to factor this into the cost of building horse stables.

Size of the stable

Another factor that can impact horse stable cost is the size of the stables. Whether you just need a stable for one horse or 6, the larger the stable, the more it will cost because of the increased amount of materials and labour time to build it.

Materials used

Another influential factor is the types of materials used and the extras that you choose to add on such as insulation, flooring choices and roofing materials. This can impact the overall cost of horse stables.

Type of stable

Lastly, one of the most important factors that will affect the price of your horse stables is the type of horse stable you choose. We provide various types of stables to suit your specific needs and budgets.

As well as the cost of building horse stables, it is important to consider the additional ongoing costs of a horse stable. It is important to ensure your horse stables are well maintained and cleaned for long term upkeep of the structure and equipment. Consider costs such as utilities, water, electricity and heating and cooling systems as well as insurance costs for the stable and its contents. Lastly, staffing costs such as groomers, caretakers or stable managers all contribute to the overall horse stable price.
