At Vale Stables, internal stables are at the heart of what we do—it’s where we began and where our passion lies. Over the past two decades, we’ve continuously refined our internal stable panel designs based on feedback from equestrians and real-world experience. The result is a robust, durable, and visually appealing solution that combines safety, functionality, and style.
Engineered for Strength and Safety
We prioritise your horse’s wellbeing. That’s why our stable panels feature 22mm galvanised steel bars with a 53mm gap to prevent trapping risks. Every panel is hot-dip galvanised to BS1461 standards, ensuring over 25 years of corrosion resistance—without the need for toxic paints.
All edges and protrusions are smoothed and removed before delivery for maximum safety.
Each internal stall stands at 2286mm (7’6”) high, with 1236mm timber cladding on the lower section and a 1050mm grilled upper section. Full-height solid partitions are also available upon request.
Panel Infill Options
Choosing the right material for your stable’s lower panels is crucial. We offer three expertly selected options:
Pressure Treated Softwood – A cost-effective and reliable choice, this 34mm thick timber comes with a 15-year treatment guarantee. Ideal for budget-conscious buyers who still want quality.
Hardwood (Keruing) – A premium, traditional-looking option. Apply linseed or teak oil to bring out its rich, natural tones. While prices have increased, hardwood remains a classic and resilient material—though it may be prone to slight shrinkage.
Recycled Plastic – The most durable and low-maintenance solution. At 32mm thick, our recycled plastic boards offer zero shrinkage and exceptional strength—we’ve never had a report of a horse kicking through one. Standard colour is chestnut brown, with a wide range of colour options available upon request.
Doors & Grills to Suit Every Layout
We offer sliding doors for tight spaces and traditional swing half doors, with custom options to suit existing frames. All doors are a generous 1220mm wide, ensuring easy access for both horse and handler. With 2236mm head clearance, even the tallest breeds such as Clydesdales can pass through comfortably.
Delivery and installation
All stable panels are manufactured in-house at our Warwickshire facility, allowing for tight quality control and reduced lead times. We typically deliver standard or bespoke panels within 10–14 working days, depending on seasonal demand.
