What we provide
Internal Stables are our Passion at Vale Stables, after all its how we started! Our design of Internal Stable panels has evolved over 2 decades by suggestions from customers and users and experience. . Listening to our customers’ suggestions and requirements we have developed a strong durable product which is not only aesthetically attractive but practical for your needs.
The safety of your horse is high on our agenda, with this in mind our 22mm bars are spaced at 53mm eliminating the risk of trapping. We ensure all sharp edges are removed prior to delivery and all petrusions are removed. All our Stable Panels are galvanised to BS1461 giving 25 years+ corrosion free Making our Internal Stables extremely durable and free from toxic paints.
At 2286mm (7’6”) high our internal stalls are constructed of 1236mm timber boarding to the lower half, 1050mm grilled upper section (full height solid partitions are available). We offer a 15 year guarantee on all our steelwork.
Which materials should you choose?
We offer three options as infills for the lower section.
Pressure Treated Softwood – is the most economical infill, aside from being the lowest cost, the treatment has a 15 year guarantee. With 34mm thick boards you can rest easy.
Hardwood (Keruing) – is a very attractive looking option. We recommend linseed or teak oil to really enhance the look of your stable. Recent rises in price mean hardwood is nearly on par with plastic in price, hardwood has a more traditional look than plastic or softwood, it is also more prone to shrinkage.
Recycled Plastic – is by far the supreme infill, Our Plastic Internal Stables offer zero shrinkage, zero maintenance at 32mm thick, we have never known a horse to kick through it. As standard we offer chestnut brown but a range of colours is available from cream to black, please ask for details.
Door options and grills
Depending on the size and layout of your building, we have a range of practical options, such as sliding doors if space is at a premium, or standard swing half doors that can be supplied to fit existing frames.
Door widths are a generous 1220mm enabling the Horse and Handler to pass through with ease and at 2236mm clearance, even the largest Clydesdale will be a comfortable fit.
Delivery and installation
We manufacture all our panels on site in our Warwickshire factory. Keeping all raw materials in stock enables us to keep delivery times to a minimum. We can often produce bespoke panels within 10-14 days dependant on the time of year.
We offer a full fitting service for all our internal stable customers throughout the whole of the UK and France. Having erected stables all over the UK we are always happy to find an example of our previous work so you can fully appreciate the quality of our products.
